Hi Carmela Dutra,
Thank you very much for your nomination in the "Very Inspiring Blogger Awards!"
Here are seven things about me that most people don't know.....
1. As a kid, I kept two white rabbits. I called them "Pinky and Perky" - perhaps I should write about them sometime?
2. I have always loved reading children's books. "Sometimes it can be very inspiring and take you into another world of pure fantasy & adventure!
3.My nickname at comprehensive school was "Rabble" - "But, I didn't think I was!"
4. At comprehensive school, I scored two goals in my very first match for the senior football team. Love football. I was a right-winger in those days!
5. I love classical music. I listen to it everyday on BBC Radio 3. It also helps me to relax when I'm doing my bookkeeping work!
6. I was thrilled when I self-published my first children's book in the autumn of 2013. It was a big ambition of mine. "Writing makes me HAPPY!"
7. I have been encouraged and very inspired by reading children's books. "If you have an ambition to write? - Just do it! - You never know where it will take you. It can be extremely rewarding!"

Blogging can be hard work, but Blogger Awards are a great way to spread the word about blogs that you enjoy. We can all use a bit of help getting the word out about our blogs. If I've nominated you and you'd rather not participate, that's fine - but please consider giving a shout-out for some of the blogs you follow. Those bloggers will appreciate your support!
